The Embassy of Fiji in Washington, DC is reaching out to the Fijian communities and their well wishers in the United States of America and Canada to inform them of the devastating floods which have inundated towns, villages and settlements over most of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu in the past few days. The Government has declared a State of Natural Disaster for the worst affected areas in Rakiraki, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi and Nadroga.
Any assistance from relatives, friends and well wishers will be gratefully received. If you have their contacts you can help them directly.
